Swami Baldev Bharti Ji is a spiritual leader and dedicated devotee of Shri Sai Baba. He is best known as the founder and caretaker of the Shri Saibaba Seva Sadhanashram at Dhupkheda and of the world’s first Shri Sai Ganesh Mandir.

Drawn to Dhupkheda — the land devotees honour as Shri Sai Baba Prakata Bhoomi — Swamiji founded the ashram and temple complex in January 2000. Since then he has guided the ashram not only as a place of worship, but as a living centre of service to the surrounding villages.

His message

Following Baba’s teaching of Sabka Malik Ek, Swamiji’s work rests on five objectives: Seva, Sadhana, Annadan, Arogya and Sarva Dharma Sambhava. Through satsang and pravachan he spreads Baba’s message of faith (shraddha) and patience (saburi) to devotees of every background.

  1. Early years

    Sai Baba at Dhupkheda

    Devotees hold that Sai Baba lived at Dhupkheda for nearly nine years before moving to Shirdi, making it his Prakata Bhoomi.

  2. Jan 2000

    Ashram founded

    Swami Baldev Bharti Ji establishes the Shri Saibaba Seva Sadhanashram and the world’s first Shri Sai Ganesh Mandir.

  3. Ongoing

    Seva to the region

    Annadan, free medical aid and spiritual programmes continue for devotees and villagers of the Paithan region.
