Where Sai Baba’s journey began
Dhupkheda, a quiet village in the Paithan region of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, is revered by devotees as Shri Sai Baba Prakata Bhoomi — the holy land where Sai Baba is believed to have spent nearly nine years of his early life before going to Shirdi.
In January 2000, Swami Baldev Bharti Ji established the Shri Saibaba Seva Sadhanashram here, and with it the world’s first Shri Sai Ganesh Mandir. For over two decades the ashram has been a home of seva, sadhana and selfless love for every visitor who arrives.
